Description

In Icelandic, "útjörð" denotes a remote or isolated area, typically uninhabited or sparsely populated. This pattern comes in two colors—moss and blue—and both are designed by Védís Jónsdóttir.


Note

Sweater is knitted in 2-ply unspun Icelandic wool called plötulopi.

Gauge

2-ply plötulopi: 14 sts and 19 rows = 10 x 10 cm over St st using 5½ mm needles.

5½ mm (US 9) circular needles 40 and 80 cm
4½ mm (US 7) circular needle 80 cm
4½ mm (US 7) and 5½ mm (US 9) double pointed needles
